Network maintenance tasks include loop detection and cable inspections. Loopback Detection greatly speeds up troubleshooting by automatically detecting and blocking loopbacks.

Monitoring mode:

• The DGS-1250 series supports automatic audio and WAN tracking,

• Beside Auto Voice VLAN detects and automatically segments Voice over IP (VoIP) traffic from the rest of the network,

The Access Control List (ACL) feature helps improve network security and protect your internal IT network.

The DGS-1250 Series provides Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) spoofing protection,

that is help protect against network attacks that allow an attacker to spoof data frames, alter traffic, or stop traffic from being sent entirely.

To prevent ARP spoofing attacks, the switch uses packet control ACLs to block invalid packets containing forged ARP messages. DHCP server scanning filters DHCP responses on disallowed ports to avoid assigning IP addresses.

The DGS-1250 series comes with D-Link Network Assistant (DNA), which allows administrators to remotely manage networks down to the port level.

Additionally, D-Link Network Assistant makes it easy to locate multiple D-Link-managed smart switches on the same L2 network segment and display them on screen for instant access.
